π CFA Study Schedule (1 Year)
Phase 1: Foundation (Months 1β4)
Goal: Build first-pass understanding of all topics.
- Use IFT free notes to cover 1 reading per week.
- Skim through CFA curriculum examples for clarity.
- Start solving end-of-chapter (EOC) questions lightly (donβt aim for perfection yet).
Weekly Time: ~7β8 hours.
Progress Target: Complete all readings once by end of Month 4.
Phase 2: Practice-Heavy Learning (Months 5β8)
Goal: Reinforce concepts with problems.
- Revisit IFT notes for revision.
- Solve all EOC + CFA online QBank questions topic by topic.
- Track weak areas in a notebook/Excel.
- If stuck, refer to curriculum or IFT free videos.
Weekly Time: ~8β10 hours.
Progress Target: Finish 1,500+ practice questions by end of Month 8.
Phase 3: Intensive Practice & Mocks (Months 9β11)
Goal: Exam conditioning.
- Focus on full-length mocks (start with 1 per month, then 1 per week).
- Review every wrong answer in detail.
- Use IFT notes for quick refresh of formulas & concepts.
- Drill Ethics repeatedly (heavily tested, high weight).
Weekly Time: ~10β12 hours.
Progress Target: 6β8 full mocks + strong grip on weak topics.
Phase 4: Final Review (Month 12)
Goal: Exam readiness.
- Reread IFT notes (entire syllabus in 3 weeks).
- Review all formula sheets and ethics.
- Take CFA Institute official mock exams under real timing.
- Light study in last week, sleep well, and stay calm.
Weekly Time: ~6β8 hours.
Progress Target: Enter exam with 70%+ confidence across topics.
